Heritage Walk at Dargah Hzt Yusuf Kattal and Satpula Dam

This weekend we will visit two heritage sites: first the dargah of Hazrat Sheikh Yusuf Qattal, a 16th-century Lodhi-era monument where, even today, during holi colours are offered at the saint’s tomb (mazar) as a mark of devotion. We will then make our way to the Satpula Dam — the seven arched water channels of which are now mostly dry. Once upon a time, the canals of the Tughlaqs ran through them and on their banks a Diwali fair lit the night. We at Delhi Karavan invite you to embrace this Ganga-Jamuna tehzeeb in all its glory in a run up to holi in the holy month of ramzan.
