In the heart of one of the city’s upscale localities lie scattered remains of the Delhi Sultanate’s fascinating history. It’s rich cultural and civilizational heritage pervades the bylanes of Green Park. In our next heritage walk we’ll trace the rise of this historic neighbourhood of ‘Tarabaabaad’ under the Khilji and Tughluq dynasties, and it’s staggering decline after Taimur’s invasion that paved the way for Mughal rule in India. To fully embrace the season in all it’s glory, we will end the walk with a leisurely stroll around the beautiful royal lake at Hauz Khas!
