This weekend, our heritage walk will return to the Mehrauli Archaeological Park, in whose recesses are contained centuries of histories and myths belonging to the Sultanates, the Lodhis, the Mughals, the British, and the Sufis. On a calm evening, away from the maddening crowd, the ruins here come alive to tell you about their past. In the rustling of leaves, the snapping of twigs under your feet, and the gentle lapping of the lake water, you can hear the soft murmur of lives once lived, folded gently into the breath of the city.
If time permits we might visit the Metcalf House. Since the monument is now ticketed, participants are requested to bear the entry charges.
