Sair e Gul Faroshan : A Heritage Walk

This year the annual festival of Phoolwalon ki Sair has been cancelled. However, we at Delhi Karavan will conduct our annual heritage walk on the festival as a tradition.

On this walk, we’ll visit the places where Mehrauli once transformed into a vibrant fair of flowers and colors. We’ll uncover how a Mughal prince’s disdain for a British resident sparked events that led to a festival symbolizing unity across faiths. Together, we will delve into its rich cultural and religious significance, and learn how it was revived after independence.
