Badshah Alamgir aur Anya Qirdaar: A Heritage Baithak

What to expect
Badshah Alamgir aur Anya Qirdaar: A Heritage Baithak
Emperor Aurangzeb, also known by his regnal name, Badshah Alamgirh, will be the central figure of our next baithak. Often painted as a ruthless ruler, Aurangzeb ruled the vast Mughal Empire with a strict hand. Yet, the complexities of his reign reveal far more than the black-and-white image history often paints. Seated in the gardens of Humayun’s Tomb we will also explore other historical characters, maybe less popular compared to the sixth great Mughal Emperor, but equally significant in shaping India’s rich history.
