Walking on Lost Trails: Heritage Walk at the Mehrauli Archaeological Park

This weekend we will be walking the myriad serpentine paths of the Mehrauli Archaeological Park exploring its histories and myths. Held in it’s recesses are centuries of heritage from the Sultanate to the Lodhis, from the Mughals to the British, and the Sufis. On a rain drenched evening, beneath low hanging monsoon clouds and amongst the glistening dark-green foliage, these ruins come alive to tell you about their past. If you linger long enough, you may hear it still — the soft murmur of lives once lived, folded gently into the breath of the city.
