” Lal Kot, the first city of Delhi, that was once ruled by Tomars, Chauhans, Mamluks, Khiljis and so many dynasties and empires, now stands bare with its few defense walls, as if reaching out to make you hear its tales.
The fort ruins of Lal Kot stand quietly amongst the dense green patch of forest inhabited by some resident and migratory birds. Nestled between Vasant Kunj and Mehrauli, the historical remnants call out to people to explore the other side of Delhi.
We will sit on these enchanting fort walls of Lal Kot and listen to the stories that are buried underneath.
