The Last Twilight: A Saga of 18th Century Delhi

चप्पे पे हैं यहाँ गौहर-ए-यकता तहे-ख़ाक

After Emperor Aurangzeb’s death, weak successors and endless skirmishes plunged the Mughal Empire into a state of decline. Foreign invasions deepened the turmoil yet the city’s cultural heart kept beating. Amid this fading glory bustling markets and kahwa khanas rose, hosting mushairas. The Last Twilight unfolded against this backdrop, with monuments like Safdarjung’s Tomb standing as enduring symbols of a once-mighty empire’s final chapter.
